Audrey Hepburn in Mcqueen

How can the Mcqueen Series do without Audrey Hepburn? Audrey's beauty made a permanent appearance in Hollywood's hall of fame for a reason. The memorable look she rocked conveys a sense of innocence and purity lost in today's cinema and pop culture. I picked this dress for her to show that showing every inch of your body doesn't scream sexy; however, you can do the other way around and actually show more.
I have step-by-step explanation on my blog

Rachel in Mcqueen

Rachel Weisz is one of the most beautiful actresses in my opinion, and this particular Mcqueen dress fits her quite well. The easiest part of this painting for me is creating the mood I had in my mind. In my head, the light on her is sharper and brighter, but that didn't work out well on the actual image. I wanted the background to contrast strongly with the garment she had on; one is run-down and dusty while the other is shiny and expensive.
The beginning stage was done in Painter, to get the brush looks, and then brought into Photoshop to further detail.
Hop over to my blog if you want to see the steps.

A result of a late night painting session.
I haven't painted for awhile(been having fun with zbrush 4 ) so decided to paint this guy. I had his modeling portfolio for awhile and I love his condescending look; it makes me jealous, makes me angry, and makes me want to look at it even more.

Vixen Smoke

My own interpretation of an old photo I found. I love the strange vintage feel of the decoration on the neck so I improvised the design and hair dress.
I wanted to give the flowers a bit of a glow implying their mystical quality. The smoke and the neck dress were really fun to paint.
Hope you guys like it

The Nebula Dress

I have recently started to develop a new body of works, and this is my first piece completed.
I was lost for a period of time, didn't know what to create, what to draw or paint...then I heard in an interview with certain someone I am Gaga for...she said when she was alone in NY by herself, she decided to create the kind of music she wants to listen to. I was then inspired by her to create the kind of artwork I wish to see.
So here it is, the Nebula Dress, coming from my love for beauty, Alexander Mcqueen, my awe for the galaxy.
My gift for the queen who desired the most extravagant gown in this universe. I hope you all like it!
Inspiration was drawn from the goddess Nyx which is the goddess of night. I just really like the idea of her clothing blends into the sky and the diamonds on it turns into stars.

Love girls who poses like this. I am still in my "looking down" upon camera phrase...but approx completion time is 2 hours, in photoshop.
I always try to combine old and new elements such as adding a sense of traditional oil painting "feel" to this piece done in digital medium. Also I strictly follow my philosophy of making all of my artwork a fantasy for viewers, something people can get lost in and immerse themselves into. This case, the dream is a mysterious redhead(I don't know why redheads are so un-appreciated, I personally thing ginger hair is very very beautiful)

Au Soleil

So I started learning français awhile ago and I figured the best way to learn a language is to listen to alots of songs in that language. Then i came across a song by Jenifer Bartoli called Au Soleil(To the Sun!) It's really uplifting and Bright, so I was inspired to paint a picture with the theme sun and rainbow all colorful!
Btw I have alil problem with PS cs3 on my macbook pro the picture I painted seemed more vivid when i was working with it inside PS but when I saved it out the colors are duller....Anyone know how to fix this complicated color management thingy?
